Summary: Rotation and transformation - intrusions or not?
Product: XSLFO
Version: 2.0 Working Draft
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: XSL-FO
AssignedTo: ***@MenteithConsulting.com
ReportedBy: ***@w3.org
QAContact: xsl-***@w3.org
Some Web browsers support transform and translate functions in
CSS, but do not account for the resulting shape in page layout!
We need to see what the correct CSS behaviour should be, and/or
align with one or other spec.
It is probably most useful for the resulting
shape to be able to create intrusions, especially if we use
layers and z-axis to manage conflicts, so you can choose whether
or not to have an intrusion.
The current Working Draft does not have intrusions, though.
